What is the medium of instruction?

The course is available in both Tamil and English.

What is the minimum age requirement for certification ?

The minimum age for Level 1 is 7 years, with the condition that the student has completed age 6.

For other Levels: Completion of the previous level is required

For a student to appear at Level 7, a minimum age requirement of 16 and the completion of Level 6 are prerequisites.

What is the criteria for passing the certification?

Candidates for the Grade Level Examinations will be deemed to have passed in a subject if they secure a minimum of 40% marks in each of the written / practical examination

Can we take multiple exams together?

A student may appear for multiple Examinations conforming to the following schemes: Level 1 and Level 2 may be taken together.

Is there any exemption for exams?

A student may be exempted from Level 1, 2 and 3 if he/she satisfies the following requirements:

a) Over the age of 16. AND

b) Has done his or her Arangetram. AND

c) Has the Application for Exemption filled out by the Teacher.
